Closing of the Bones Ceremony
Closing of the bones is an ancient ceremony that is performed after a birth, pregnancy release, or during a significant shift in a woman’s life. During this ceremony, Jay guides the woman and her community through various rituals to process, witness, and support the woman’s transition. Often this includes a womb massage, guided yoni steam, gentle music, and getting wrapped in a rebozo, and integrating the lessons from this chapter of her life. After a pregnancy, the wrapping of a woman’s pelvic floor is important to physically close up the bones that opened to bring the child to life. This ceremony serves women of any stage in life to be held and witnessed in their emotionally process of the birth.
It is important to note that this ceremony has ancient roots in South America and the Middle East. We give thanks to the elders in these cultures for passing down this wisdom.
The price of the ceremony includes:
30 minute call to go over the woman's intentions and needs for the ceremony
Facilitating the ceremony (2-3 hours)
Herbs, candles, and other materials needed
My personal commute time
