My name is Jay and I am a community herbalist, menstrual cycle educator, doula, and female embodiment coach.
Studying the menstrual cycle, medicine making, and meditating led me to reclaim the power and wisdom of the female bodies and ancestral wisdom.
Using my skills in non-violent communication, counsel, and active listening, I guide participants through this life-changing journey.
The men in my life have shown me that when men experience safe spaces to learn about the menstrual cycle, they can be INCREDIBLE sources of support and love for women & cyclical beings.

Men Meet Menstruation was so expansive and worth all of the time I put into it as well as the financial investment. Jay is so supportive and loving through the process of teaching men about the menstrual cycle. She created a safe space for me to be vulnerable with other men, a priceless gift.”- Adam
I was able to let go of deeper layers of discomfort in terms of menstrual blood and become more neutral with it.- Jacob
“Before the course, I knew basically nothing about female anatomy. The concept that each phase of the cycle impacts women’s mood, eating habits, and sexuality was all new to me. I learned what it means for women to be cyclical and to assume that their needs and desires shift from day to day. I left the course feeling a sense of awe and amazement for the female body.” - Michael
What men are saying…
I gained a deeper relation with the cycles that women go through and how SO many women are absent from this cycle by the use of birth control. I gained that it is possible to track the cycle and have safe sex without a condom throughout different parts of a woman's cycle. I gained a deeper sense of compassion for women that have cycles and for men that have been left in the dark about the inner workings, the seasons, of these cycles. - Jake
Having been taught to only focus on the dramatic, negative aspects of menstruation, this course has allowed me to realize the full magical, incredible potential of all phases of the moon cycle. So extraordinary. - Max
I emerged with a deeper, personal understanding of the female body and menstruation, especially the emotional and hormonal aspects of the menstrual cycle. I learned how to support people who experience menstruation, and ways to foster healthy communication around the topic. Each week brought about moments where I felt like I not only learned something new, but could feel that knowledge informing my past experiences. Being able to speak directly with other men and ask one another about what manhood means to us, in this particular container, felt especially potent.- Carlo
